Since 2017, the Czaar Peterbuurt has gained an engaging, cozy café. Café Czaar settled in the heart of the authentic working-class district in East Amsterdam with a clear goal. We would like to be a base for Jan and everyone. Czaar is the second living room where you can lean back, or be part of one of the activities.

For early birds and night owls

In the morning Café Czaar welcomes you with fresh croissants and a good cup of coffee, so we lay the foundation for a nice day! In the afternoons we serve delicious lunch dishes for our visitors, where we regularly add new gems to our menu. Naturally, we also welcome you and your friends in the late hours of the day. End the day with a beer or wine, and feel free to stick around until after the clock has struck twelve.
